Its 2013 and Smartphone’s are a must have
according to my Smartphone survey. More than half of the population in the
United States owns Smartphone’s according to the large cell phone companies. As
fast as the internet is on a phone the speed at which it charges is very slow.
That’s why David Toledo invented the “Practical meter”. Smartphone’s have become an essential
part of our lives. Keeping them charged is more important than ever, but
today's phones often die before the day is through. This makes charging at
top-speed mandatory. Currently, there is no way to know if your phone is
charging fast or slow. The Practical Meter changes this. It displays real-time
charge rates of any USB device so you know how fast you are charging.

David saw some inconsistencies with his first kick starter project, the power
pot. Not all USB ports are created equal which is where the Practical meter
comes into existence. It actually charges the Smartphone in less than the 4
hours it would normally take. To show the customer how fast the phone is
charging the Practical Meter has 5 LED lights showing the power watts at which
it charges. This product is made to satisfy the customer.

thought further and created special power cables to allow the devices to always
receive max power. The
